A basic ADAS calibration package from a UK garage-equipment supplier is publicly listed at £9,500 +VAT, plus £2,250 +VAT for the diagnostic tool that drives it — before training, before software subscriptions, and before you've given up a level bay you can't use for anything else while the targets are up. If you're calibrating several cars a week, that maths works. If you're calibrating four a month, it doesn't.

No capital, no finance agreement, no update contract, no bay permanently committed, and nothing sitting idle in a corner in eighteen months' time when the software licence lapses. You quote your customer at your rate; the difference is your margin on a job you'd otherwise have referred away.
We charge £180 +VAT per calibration, not per vehicle. A straightforward glass job on a single-camera car is one calibration. A front-end repair on a car with both a windscreen camera and a grille radar is two — two setups, two procedures, two road tests where required — so £360 +VAT.
That's not a surcharge, it's the actual work, and it's the same way the main dealer would bill it. For you it's straightforward to quote: give us the reg and the job description and we'll tell you the number before you write your estimate, so the calibration line on your quote is right the first time and your customer never gets a second phone call. Nothing turns into a surprise on your invoice, which means it never turns into a surprise on theirs.

ADAS calibration isn't an MOT item and we're not going to pretend it is. Your exposure is different from a private customer's.
If a vehicle leaves your workshop after alignment work, a front-end repair or a glass replacement, and its forward camera or radar is out of aim, the systems are running on your work. If that vehicle is later involved in something, the question that gets asked is what the workshop did about the safety systems it disturbed — and “we didn't think it needed it” is a much worse answer than a line on the job card showing the calibration was carried out to manufacturer procedure by an IMI-certified technician, with the results recorded.
